One such important plants is Eclipta alba hassk (Asteraceae) which commonly known as Bhringraj false daisy. This plant its extra-ordinary therapeutic properties. It one most widely used traditional systems medicines Ayurvedic, Unani, Sidha, homeopathy, Chinese, folk. Each part this medicinal contains many phytochemical constituents coumestans, triterpenes, flavonoids, steroids, polypeptides, saponins. majorly enhancing growth, strength, blackening hair. main ingredient hair oils. significantly treats problems related to fall, dandruff, premature greying, baldness. E. exhibits other biological properties anticancer, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-stress, immunomodulatory. Thus, playing a vital role medical field cosmetic industry. The present review summary phytomedicinal importance Ayurveda well folk medicine system.
